Q: How much does it cost to retain your firm?

A: Most of our work is billed at $300.00/hr. However, some matters are billed a flat fee.


Q: I found a form online, what is the difference between using the form I found and working with Praktess?

A: Forms are not specific to your circumstances; they provide a basic outline but do not consider specifics that are key to protecting yourself and your business.


Q: I need a trust - what do you need to prepare one for me?

A: Not everyone needs a trust. In order to determine whether or not a trust is necessary, we like to discuss your specific needs in order to prepare what is best for you.


Q: I want my children to take over my business in the next few years, what do I need to do?
A: Succession planning is very important, and, specific to each business and family. We like to discuss your goals and intentions in order to outline a plan that will work well for you, your business and your family.


Q: What forms do I need if I am going to lease a property I own?

A: Depends on whether the lease is for commercial or residential property - as well as the specifics on the purpose of the lease.


Q: My business partner and I are not getting along. How do I buy him out of the business?

A: If you had an attorney prepare the Operating Agreement of Shareholders Agreement, depending on the entity type, then the Operating Agreement or Shareholders Agreement should provide for disengagement.


Q: A client owes me money. How do I sue them?

A: If the amount owed is $10k or under, you may file in small claims court in most instances.


Q: My brother just got his 2nd OWI. What do we do now?
